i owned an mgp a while back, smokinmovies.com, in case anyone remembers. mgps are dead, i guess we can presuppose that.

what about tgps with all pic galleries? as dead as mgps? or something that might after all have potential (again)?

Picture galleries still convert but it's much harder to get Google traffic for it.

you got any sponsor / micro niche recommendations?

Check out the old TGPs in Alexa and see.. there is still some traffic, but it is not worth the time and effort

so it's all tubes and godknowswhat nowadays :)? tgps actually seemed kind of contraintuitive in the first place, maybe that's why i thought...

ok. and google traffic is used for? blogs? weird splash page stuff? too bad about the tgps, i really thought that might be something, after seeing that some of the big guys from way back seem still alive.

Sales from one of our old sites HERE are steadily climbing and doing very well actually. Been going for years now with no scripts, no jerked traffic, just plain old fashioned HTML.

Mainly links from relevant CCBill sites and bookmarks plus we use Twitter a couple of times a week.

We have quite a few old TGPs and Wordpress sites (nearly all deleted now) but opening pics from thumbs into HTML pages more than doubles conversions and the sales have steadily climbed week on week for years where as the TGPs have died.

Said it before... My best (converting) affiliates send traffic from their tgp's
(their traffic is declining sadly)...

Converting tgp-traffic into sales is not the issue... getting traffic on tgp's is...

what other ways do you use to promote your pic fhgs? how has tgp (not mgp) traffic developed within the last year? these are very basic questions, hope it's ok to ask that here. feeling like a noob again, lol. been 6 years since i've been here :error

I just throw the fhg's up... how my affiliates want to use them is up to them...
Some send traffic to fhg's; some grab the pics and let them click through to the site directly, etc...

I do use sites like tumblr to get me some traffic on it....

Tgp traffic (from affiliates) is a bit down for me (-10%) since 1 year or so... not drastically...

If tubes would convert like tgp's still do... a lot of people would become rich again... :upsidedow

I disagree that TGP's are dead. I get at least one signup everytime a gallery goes on the hun or persian kitty.

It used to be at least ten.

good to hear that thehun and persiankitty still exist after all. any other of the big tgps still remaining? how hard is it to get into their listings? only via paid spots?
