Ideally non adult where I can put a wordpress blog or two with about a dozen pages.
Reasonably reliable. Virtually no bandwidth or diskspace.

I could go for a free host I know but I figured for a buck a month I don't mind paying.
I could do with several such hosts.

Spend a little bit more, a few dollars a month and you'll get better quality and more sites hosted.

Adultking, I'm not looking for good, I am looking for cheap. I am already with Certified / naked hosting which do a great job of running my main sites. This hosting is for other "sites" I don't want associated with my main domains.

Actually I know of a few companies (at least for mainstream websites, not sure about allowing adult content) that have $1 hosting that is pretty decent. If he just needs to throw up some quick websites, blogs, etc then he doesn't really need much.

I doubt there's any decent shared host for $1/month but there are pretty good ones for $2-3, I know a few.

Hah, $1/month is crazy yes, but I don't think he wants to host his money sites on these cheap hosting accounts. He probably wants to build a blog network (and spread the blogs over many different hosts so G doesn't discover him) just for link building/spamming purposes.

What the heck are you talking about? Hostgator's cheapest plan is $7.16/month, not $1/month. If you pay for 1 YEAR you get $5.56/month.
Those are normal/regular prices, nothing to do with $1 market.

What sign up ratio are you getting or what do you expect to get?
These sites are only good for new domain parking that you won't promote.
If you want to make any money you need dedicated dabbling will only lose you money even if it is $1 invest in yourself and spend more as any little success will see your site locked up or paying more dollars in additional penalty bandwidth.
$1 will get a domain hosted and it will only take one of the hundreds hosted to crash your site too.

Don't be so greedy man :)
