Sell something which isn't available for free and more importantly that consumers expect to have to pay for. If the owners of the sites didn't protect their content and their industry then fuck them. You don't owe them anything. Let them destroy their own business if that is what they want.

it's unfortunately not that easy.
But if someone has an affiliate program with good promo materials (videos of a decent length, a strip tease would be the best) and with decent content inside an UPDATED member area, let me know.
Oh yes, if you have games inside your member area, it would be far better.

A MAJOR Google update happened mid to late October 2013. A lot of people dropped a ton of key spots, and I am guessing you are one of them? I'm also guessing that those 9 signups were people that either had you bookmarked or still cookied.

After the first of the year it died because your ranking were already dead... you were just still getting residual traffic or something.

Easy. Your traffic to the site dropped in half (almost).

Factor in tubes and the amount of free shit out there, well I think you get it. People may be clicking through just to see what they have to offer in order to get out their pencil and pad so they know what to download on torrents or what to look for on the tube sites.

My traffic dropped because i did the same thing but with another sponsor (lifeselector), now i could show you my stats with lifeselector, they went from very good to very bad, in less than 2-3 months.
It is now the same thing with them: only teh rebills are remaining...

Then let me ask you this, without prying to much into your personal information... where is the traffic coming from that you ARE sending to them? If there is ZERO organic traffic going to the sponsor... are you buying it? Are you feeding it with a site that DOES have organic SE traffic? If so, what type of content is the site that you are getting the organic traffic from?

You are leaving way too many variables out there in the wind, so it's hard to determine what it is that happened. :2 cents:

This traffic comes mostly from online games (flash files), it doesn't convert so well, but it should be better then this. I have a copycat competitor, that makes far more free games with promo content from twistys, but again 1/36000 is a questionable ratio.

Always remember this rule, to get your sales your traffic has to be growing month by month, give it a try and watch what happens; they only invest in those who are growing. Your affiliate sales are their investment in you :2 cents:

It's a difficult one, CCBill converts at a much lower rate but at least you do get your sale. If you go for a sponsor who only invests in you when you are growing, you can actually make easier money as long as you stay within their 'growing' rule. :2 cents:

2013 was 1:2100.

So not way off, and only comparing less than half a year of 2014.

Mine was even worse with bigger numbers. Unfortunately that content doesnt convert anymore

Also, there is probably too much strip poker games (especially free one), it is hard to make them viral with game websites.

I think he's complaining because of the 1:36,371 part this year. A couple years ago most people would have expected at least 10-20 sales from that, not one.

But your graphic brings up a good point. The industry is pretty much turning normal paysite affiliates into McDonald's workers. You can't win with 1:30,000 conversions. In fact it's very hard with even 1:5,000 conversions.

If you mock him then you're probably mocking 90% of normal non-tube paysite affiliates out there with about the same volume.

Maybe he's got 1000 different sponsors, or if not and it's only for a few sales here and there, he should still expect get his sales :2 cents:
