11:34 AM PT -- As if being beaten up by a cat wasn't bad enough, TMZ has learned ... the dog was picked up by animal control yesterday and the decision has been made to put it to sleep.

Sources tell us ... the dog was aggressive even after it was captured and officials decided it was in the best interest for everyone involved to euthanize the canine.

I LOL'd at this...

VikingMan 05-14-2014 12:21 PM

it is a boy so those scars will be cool, no harm done. That cat should get tuna every day for the rest of its life:thumbsup Some cats are awesome. I wonder if the cat was actually defending the boy or just hates dogs.

Exactly ….. What kind of home does a dog come from that it would attack a kid for no reason?

What's up there?

.

Mutt 05-14-2014 01:10 PM

We like to anthropomorphize animals I know but damn, look at that dog's moves, you'd swear he'd been stalking that boy for days, taking notes of his daily routine and movements, preparing for the attack, i can imagine him the night before in the darkness rubbing his paws together whispering to himself 'Tomorrow he's mine and no one can stop me'

marcop 05-14-2014 03:16 PM

Hero cat... send him/her over to my house to pose with naked human females.

One that spent the dog food bill on crack.

Seen a lot of cat's fuck up/scratch dog's in the face, got like ninja reflexes.

SilentKnight 05-14-2014 05:05 PM

They HAD to euthanize the dog. The cat took away all his street cred - the neighbourhood dogs would've made him their bitch.

Phoenix 05-14-2014 05:31 PM

wow...i am guessing that cat got to eat tuna and salmon for awhile :)

Spunky 05-14-2014 05:34 PM

Wow,would have never expected that, great kitty

dyna mo 05-14-2014 05:41 PM

that entire clip is infuckingsane for several reasons, the primary one being that badass hero cat! dang.

but that fucking dog! wow. wtf dog? that dog went on the prowl for that kid and snatched him off that big wheel without hesitation, it was like one of those nutty crocodile snatching a animal clips, crazy!

TrashyGirl 05-14-2014 05:53 PM

Pussy power.

This morning when I saw the video, it had under 400 views. Now it's up to almost 2.3 million views.

That cat is one in a billion.

Maqua 05-14-2014 09:35 PM

Pretty wild, the cat did a excellent job protecting :thumbsup

John-ACWM 05-15-2014 01:28 AM

Crazy video indeed and good thing it wasn't worse. Sad it happened though.

Scott McD 05-15-2014 03:02 AM

Yet my cat is fucking scared of spiders...

clicker 05-15-2014 03:14 AM

Probably years of neglect and mistreatment from it's owners...

seeandsee 05-15-2014 09:43 AM

looks more like demonic cat to me :)

still good skill

Tam 05-15-2014 10:10 AM

I have a Manx that would do something like that, but the rest of my cats would either run the other way or just lay there and watch it..... lol

What bugged me was the mom came and looked at the boy and ran off, leaving him to run off on his own - no way in all hell would I have ever turned my back on that baby with something like that going on right there - he'd have been in my arms or I wouldn't have moved. YIKES!! Why did she turn her back on that boy??

I've been attacked by a pit, and while I don't stop and ask the dogs for credentials and I am mortified of the whole damn breed now, I know to blame the owners, not the breed - or dog - whatever - but that's very hard when your body jumps up and takes off on it's own - and there is no time at all to wait and see if the owner was nice to this dog or that dog!

I see the point, but having been attacked - it's not easy to stand there and not be scared from that point on.

She was probably yelling for her husband to come out.

as i read in some other place: she was running after the dog to chase him away cause he made a turn to come back. she tried to protect her son, not leave him alone

SilentKnight 05-15-2014 03:48 PM

Didn't take long to hit over 8million views already.

2MuchMark 05-15-2014 05:27 PM

Cats: Awesome. Dogs: Stupid.

OneHungLo 05-15-2014 05:45 PM

Ok great, thanks for clearing that up for me, it sure helps - I hadn't seen much more than the little snippets and didn't see any of the interviews or anything - but that seriously helps.

Thanks to you and L-Pink - I don't think she is a terrible mom anymore. lol I didn't wanna think that but no matter how many times I was seeing that same scene I couldn't get my head around her taking off like that. lol

lock 05-16-2014 01:03 AM

This video made the news in Australia.

that's interesting - I wonder if the dog picked up on that, the way animals are meant to be able to, and felt it was in danger or something. The attack itself is weird too, looks like he got hold of the kid's shorts rather than his leg? Or was it in fact his leg he grabbed?

Chi 05-16-2014 05:07 AM

Apparently this awesome cat's 15 minutes of fame is not done yet:

http://news.kron4.com/news/tara-the-...baseball-game/

I want to see how they manage to get the cat to throw out the pitch! :winkwink:

Penny24Seven 05-16-2014 05:40 AM

that is a big pussy
