Pennsylvania Judge strikes down DOMA, legalizes gay marriage
 

As backward as the majority of this state is, I'm glad we've finally taken steps toward the future and equal rights. And, PA was only the 17th state to do so thus far. OMG we're the leaders of the pack!

Anyway, the opinion piece by US Middle District Judge John Jones is extremely well written and is worthy of a read by everyone.

It's only a matter of time. You watch, twenty years from now kids will say "What, it wasn't legal for gays to get married?". It's like our generation not understanding how there was once different drinking fountains for blacks.

Exactly. Same with interracial marriage. These days no one even gives a second thought to interracial marriage. It's just a normal thing. But it was illegal just a few decades ago.
