The military now controls all TV and radio stations in the country, so they can control the news that is getting to the people.

They have already been a few killings today, as some protestors have started to fight the military in Bangkok. This could potentially get really ugly, but you're not going to hear about it as long as the military controls 100% of the media. That is the point of controlling the media.

I assume if videos start showing up on youtube and facebook of the fighting, they will block those sites or turn off the internet.

If rumours are true that the Internet will be switched off in ‪#‎Thailand‬ at 9pm, I guess I will have to read a book as TV is censored.

Because both the Red and the Yellow behave like babies, they don't get their way they stage massive protests and bring the country down and it goes for both side.

Thailand is not ready for democracy like we know it in the west and putting a stop to the current situation is a good thing and only the army could do it and in the short term it is the best solution in my opinion.

27 people have died already in the last 6 months during the protests but I think this will put an end to it.

That was Martial Law, and they said it was not a coup. Today, said the coup was official and put a curfew in place.

This is like the twenty-third time it's happened in the past fifty years or so.

More or less it's business as usual.
