Can you imagine living like this?

All sorts of ass hats stalking you, how would you feel?

LightscapeMedia 05-26-2014 11:23 AM

If people don't know by now that this comes with the territory, then they are the asshat. Also, doesn't this mean they've made it? Wasn't this the goal all along?

DBS.US 05-26-2014 11:24 AM

Stars can stop this at any time by having their own photographer supply the magazines with photos.

I have a short fuse, I'd be arrested at least once every other month for beating the shit out of a paparazzo

so your conclusion is that people have no right for privacy when they decide to become actor or singer?

i would like to see how you feel when you can't step out your door without being followed and harassed.

its all peachy when you sit alone in your basement and no one cares who you are..

KaliC 05-26-2014 11:27 AM

At first it would seem awesome but I would hate that shit quick!

dyna mo 05-26-2014 11:31 AM

NO, I could not imagine wearing that wrinkled, ill-fitting outfit in public.

The magazines don't want whitewashed photo's they want to get the dirt. These paparazzi's live to get the dirt.

The question I ask, is not would you want to be the star being followed, but who would want to actually be the creep paparazzi following people around all day, hoping to get some shot that pays.

It's one thing to go to an event that the stars are at to snap shots, but actually stalking people.. You have to be a freak to want to do that as your job.

seeandsee 05-26-2014 11:41 AM

he have money and fame, he will get fun and forget about them

Remove the hat and the sneakers and that's how I dress 99% of the time. Pretty decent IMO

Scott McD 05-26-2014 11:46 AM

Stars moan when they get attention.

Then they moan when they don't... :2 cents:

I wore jeans and t-shirt too, up till recently, I went to all collared shirts. But I still wear jeans, just with polos and up.

Nevertheless, I buy the proper size and fold my shit up so it isn't so wrinkled and unkempt as that when I wear it.

klinton 05-26-2014 11:55 AM

who is this guy ?

clickhappy 05-26-2014 11:59 AM

Howard stern said he loved it, it was the biggest ego booster to have people following him around with cameras lol

JA$ON 05-26-2014 12:01 PM

They live pretty close to us. We were at the park for my sons soccer game (couple years ago) and there were 20+ photogs there! They had a security guy who talked to the paparazzi and told them they could snap pics IF they kept their distance and gave them SOME privacy, which they did....for a while. When they were obviously done and wrapping it up to head to their car, the paps SWARMED them making a circle around them with maybe 5 feet of space between them and the lenses and followed them all the way till they drove away.

They smiled and just ignored them...how, I have NO IDEA !!!

I had a friend that for a few years was at that same level of fame and was in the tabloids every day. I asked him how they hell he dealt with it (it didn't just effect him, it effected all of us, his friends as well. Going out etc) and he said..."Im lucky, I make a fortune for pretending to be someone on TV. If I decided to walk away from it all, they would forget about me inside a month. As long as they don't invade my private property and keep it to public places, I CHOOSE to deal with it. Its what I prayed for, dreamed of and ultimately signed up for. To whine about it seems a bit silly when Its my choice to walk away from any time I want"

On the flipside, if no one was following them around, they'd wonder why.

Me, personally, I think I'd enjoy it.

clickhappy 05-26-2014 12:23 PM

Id love it. I'd walk around picking my nose, picking my ass, that would be so fun

i experienced enough of that (second hand) in one of my previous jobs to know that i would hate it and would have a hard time to control myself

marcop 05-26-2014 12:56 PM

I've seen paparazzi a few times a block from my house, but I don't know who they're trying to shoot--there's a bunch of celebs who live in the neighborhood. I was walking home from buying a bagel one day and saw one of the paparazzi, as he was trying to conceal himself, fall into a large potted bush outside of a bar. I asked if he needed help getting out as he had a camera with a huge lens on it that was impeding him extracting himself--and he very angrily cursed me out. I've run into these guys a few times before and they all seem like nasty people.

Until they got pics of him and his then fiancee (now wife) fooling around in a pool and he had to pay them handsomely to not publish them.

kane 05-26-2014 01:00 PM

There are places famous people go where they would expect to be photographed. At the airport, at clubs, restaurants, hot spots etc. The thing about a lot of these guys isn't that just take your picture. They follow you, try to cut you off while you drive and say all kinds of crazy shit to you in order to hopefully get some kind of reaction out of you. If they can get you snap and hit them or say something rude to them the photo and video are worth a lot more.

That would get annoying.

I can imagine myself having a hard time to control myself as well. It might be an ego booster and fun at the beginning but it will undoubtedly become an absolute pain in the ass to live like that every fucking day.

Most would for a month or so. Then it would drive you insane. Imagine not being able to go or do anything without a camera taking pics of you.

You are extra tidy if you think his clothes are wrinkled. I was not even sure what were you talking about, the tshirt or the jacket (which has some regular/usual wrinkles that happens to everybody). Nothing out of the ordinary. Except if you are a pedant.

Only in India and the USA. People in other countries are not into celebrity fetish :2 cents:

scubadiver626 05-28-2014 04:58 AM

They would bring princess Diana to tears, the shit they would say to get reactions. Scumbags!

Dmcontent 05-28-2014 05:29 AM

It depends where they are at ( famous people), some places countries are less problematic.

LAJ 05-28-2014 06:03 AM

It would suck ass... but I'm resourceful and would find a way to fix it.

I think it's part of a "jealousy syndrome" where people have little sympathy for the rights
of the ultra-successful.

The star deserves this because "look at how much money they made".
Translation : "I'd do anything and tolerate anything to make that much money because I'm a fucking whore so I don't know why these stars complain".

But don't you think that is a self image problem for you?
You are imagining glory and happiness because some stranger took your picture.
Don't you fear the shallowness of you desire?
You scream of attention seeking and you need love and you think you can find it in fans and
creepy photographers surrounding you.

I played sports and had the cameras all around me and the applause of 1000's, there is nothing to it, it does not change anything in you or about you.

It is only in the minds of those who think they will never be in that position.
To image it as magical or fulfilling.

It's childish.

But it seems to be the majority and it manifested itself in the form of Facebook, Twitter, and the selfie.

The selfie is so correctly named as it will go down in psychiatric history as the first real look into the minds of a self obsessed nation.
