National Hamburger Day - what's your favorite?
 

I've never really heard of this, but since it is what it is, let's have a bit of fun with it....

What's your favorite burger?

Mine would be grilled - I don't like them any other way, not pan fried or any of that - and I like them only two ways - cheese, mustard, pickles and onions OR cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo

Backyard Burger or Sonic are my favorite fast food burgers if I get the out, but prefer them on the grill here at home.

Oh and they have to be well done - I don't care if they are burnt as long as they are well done. lol

Grilled Bison burgers for the win!

I have some in the freezer. Think I'll take them out today to honor this holiday!

The burgers there are probably the best ones I have ever eaten. Ive been back there many times and im still not sure why the burgers are so tasty but apparently its organic.

I've had those before when I was much younger, but where I live, you can't really find this on the shelves - we have bison ranges around here, but for some reason none of the stores much carry the meat. But they are very good. :thumbsup

The bar doesn't look like much but hands down the best burger I've ever had.

It's not a holiday it's just a awareness food day..

In-N-Out. Second favorite is White Castle, 3rd favorite any that I make at home myself.

That doesn't shock me in the least little bit - I just kept seeing it all over facebook, hearing it on the radio and on the tv - and like I said, I didn't even know there was such a thing. lol

Choopa, sometimes those dives have the best food around - where I am, there isn't much of that, it's just the typical normal chains that are a dime a dozen for the most part, unless it's Pizza. lol

Tons of great burger places here in Winnipeg, and I do mean tons.

But the best of the best and still unbeaten champ for me is the Holy Burger from Muddy Waters.

why pick one when there are so many good ones out there? lately i've been doing up the oklahoma onion burgers. I'd post a picture but they look terrible, but damned if they don't taste good..

Ones I make at home, these days, have become my fave...
Going out...I like Fuddruckers, In-N-Out, and occasionally Fatburger.

lol - the ones my husband eats look like that, like something that was dragged thru the entire salad bar or something... lol

I am not that much of a burger eater period - actually don't even prefer meat period - but on this day, I thought it'd be fun just to see what everyone likes on this particular day.

My favorite food, hands down, is a bowl of veggies lightly steamed and seasoned - kale is my newest favorite thing- experimenting with what all I can do with it. lol

Not a big fan of heavy seasoned anything. lol

five guys still my favorite though shake shake was quite good too

I can of course toss something together myself, but typically not worth the effort

I liked Shake Shack, really nice small burgers

I could go for Bachi Burger today.

If you said Five Guys, you've never had a real burger. I asked for hot sauce and they dipped the patty in red hot. Fuck that.

Oh my god, that looks so like something my husband would sit down beside me with - I couldn't eat that if I was paid to do so.

He will mix anything with anything and shovel it in, always has eaten like that - where NONE of my food can touch and I will typically eat one thing at a time, but at NO point whatsoever can one thing touch the other or I won't eat it... or I'll spend forever separating it. no corn in my potatoes, nothing. A plate like that would just give me a stroke. lol

I got sucked into going. I wouldn't spend a penny in that joint. Especially not when there are already a ton of real burger joints in town. Hell, I can pull over on the side of the road every few miles and get a better burger off of the burger cart. And that's not even bringing the hot sauce into matters.

And do people really bring their own hot sauce with them? I've probably seen that less than I have eaten a burger dipped in Red Hot. :1orglaugh

We actually have a place in town that's TM'd "World's Greatest Hamburger". And they're pretty damn good...but they're hot sauce sucks.

I have never tasted bad tasting burger, it is the type of food when you always like it. Not talking about frozen burgers or anything like that of course..

Me too, similar with pizza (actually I was served with pizza in Tunisia that I couln't not eat. Everything is different..from cheese to ham...disgusting, I was trying somehow to hide two pizzas because they were asking was it good).

And bout burgers, I am not from US but I ve just found nice spot near and I am planing to try every type of burger ( I was checking their cheesburger today):
