Milwaukee Brewers fan Jordan Hynum is a BIG fan of outfielder Carlos Gomez. This much we know from her overwhelmed reaction when Gomez came over and gave her a hug before an April 27 game at Miller Park. After Tuesday night, it?s hard to imagine Hynum rooting for anyone else. Before his team?s contest against the Baltimore Orioles, Gomez surprised his favorite fan in the stands once again, this time inviting her onto the field to throw out the first pitch. The 15-year-old Hynum was (barely) able to hold her emotions in check before walking out to the mound to deliver a rather impressive first pitch to Gomez. Take notes, 50 Cent.

This reminds me of something that happened on the Howard Stern Show. His producer Gary Dell'abate got to throw out a first pitch for a Mets game. He was excited because he has been a Mets fan his entire life.

He practiced and worried about it and even went to a sports psychologist because he didn't want to mess it up. Sure enough, the pitch was terrible.



When he was throwing the pitch Artie Lange was standing near the dugout with a guy who is a security guard at the stadium. Gary throws the pitch and both of them start laughing. Artie says it was gay and the security guard said, "That was the gayest thing I have ever seen and I once saw a guy suck another guy's cock!"

There's not too many thing I hate seeing more than a human male who has never learned proper throwing mechanics. It should be naturally ingrained in your DNA, but if it's not -- at least throw a few practice balls before embarrassing yourself in front of a stadium full of people.

I played baseball and I'm pretty sure that at my age I would need to throw at least 5-10 warm up throws before
I could hit the plate with any velocity on the ball.
Sure I could lob one to the catcher but my first "fast ball" would probably be way off.

That is natural. Your ball would not have been way off by 45 degrees (or whatever fifty made) though. It is just impossible unless your brain sends the wrong signal and you release too early.
