Need some help with my new "Behind The Scenes in Porn" Blog
 

Hey guys,

I put up a new site chronicling our adventures behind the camera during our porn shoots. I have well over 1,000 images I can put up and can write some fairly interesting stories.

I would like to monetize this site but I really have no idea what I am doing. I am a director not a web guy :1orglaugh so I could use some advice.

I know this is GFY but I can sift through the bullshit answers and hopefully get some ideas. :)
I would love to get a bunch of traffic to this site and blow it up a bit.

I am open to suggestions.

Great photos (of course). You will hear all kinds of advice on how to 'monetize' a blog, with everything from cams to dating to paysites (ahem). But really it comes down to traffic. If you're looking for organic/SEO traffic then you would probably need a 'web guy' to help with that.

But basically you want links. LOL Links to dating, cams, paysites, penis pills, Amazon books, etc etc. It's up to you.

Check out Relentless here on GFY. He's a master blog writer/builder and SEO guy. He can totally help you with this and his advice/work won't be bullshit. :) Good luck!!

I can't help you on the traffic side of things, but my advice is to make your blog a lot smaller. Keep the post count on your front page to 10 or so. Your blog takes some time to load and that seems to because of the number of posts it is showing.

Yeah man, get rid of the cheesy sound effects and make it a lot lighter because it takes too long to load. Not dissing you just giving you some honest advice. :thumbsup

Building blogs is a project, not a plan. In other words, if your plan is just to build some blogs, you will end up with some blogs. Your plan ought to include what to do with those blogs once they are built.... unless you just want some blogs. ;)

Hmm, you should definetly do some interviews with the models!
And everytime you post pictures of productions say for which site they are and where visitors can find them (ref link).

Traffic is not a problem, just buy some ads on JuicyAds, Plugrush.

For SEO you should write some reports of your shoots.
