There is a very fine line to walk for the Swedish justice system, and this verdict will probably be appealed to the Swedish supreme court and might even end up in the European Court of Human Rights, so it is far from over. There are many of us in Sweden that feel the extreme right parties are being treated in a bad manner by the media and the government. Even thou I do not support the opinion of these parties, I believe they have the right to express their own opinion and should be met with fact in open debate not with law.

There are probably around 7.5-8 million ethic Swedes of a population of 9.6 Million currently living in Sweden and an additional million ethnic Swedes living in other countries. People move around all the time and has done so for thousands of years, many people in Europe have ancestors that were Swedish, Danish and Norwegian Vikings. While I do agree that we currently accept way to many immigrants,you should remember that most of those are Christians.

I live in a city with a high immigration population and you can clearly see that the generations that are born in Sweden adapt to Swedish customs very fast. Most third generation immigrants consider themselves Swedes and behave like other Swedes.

If things should ever turn violent like people like you seem to think, then you should know that there are 619 000 people in Sweden that are licensed to own firearms. They own a total of 1,8 Million firearms, personally I own 3 rifles. 99% of those that own firearms are ethnic Swedes. Ethnic Swedes also control the armed forces, the government, the justice system and 95+% of all the assets. Besides ethnic Swedes are pretty big people compared to most immigrants. Why should I be worried?

You do not see the whole picture and the rate at which muslims are growing. They are not as tolerant as Christians, once they will be 50%+ they will impose their own laws/rules etc.

It's easy to impose archaic laws and rules when you live in a society where the average education is 5 years in school, not so easy when it 14+ years in school. You are the one not seeing the whole picture, when people get educated and live in a organized and safe society, religion becomes less of a problem. Besides uneducated people are easy to control and will never take over Sweden, they will be used by those in power like in the rest of the world.

Pretty sure you'll find non-Muslims stating that Muslim countries should be made into a parking lot and you don't have to go very far to find this sentiment since it's been voiced on this very board quite a few times.

Two wrongs however don't make a right and it is a very sad state of affairs when people on both sides can't learn tolerance. The lack of tolerance only serves to exacerbate the problem.

What I got from reading the article, is that it's now pretty much a crime to say something without "adding sufficient value" to the discussion.
