According to RIA, quoting Slaviansk people's mayor Vyacheslav Ponomaryov, about 1,200 Ukrainian army soldiers have been killed during a special operation in Slaviansk, and eight helicopters and 15 armored vehicles were destroyed.

I find it hard to believe that any modern army could lose 1,200 soldiers in a single attack. We no longer live in the days where soldiers line up and trade shots or make useless charges on well entrenched positions.

Waiting too see other sources than some random mayor.. It's almost 12am there but still for that many killed something would of hit a reliable news source by now. At least one would assume so..

they were not killed, they just sold their weapons and ammunition to the ennemy and flies to poland
