Ok, so watched the whole video, it wasn't that she was passing that much, actually there was no emphasis on racing at all. I was misled by rogue's description a bit :)

It's not really about how quickly you can get from 0-60. Let's say the other cars are fourteen seconds faster than her out of the gate... But she can gain two seconds at each turn because she is a better driver, which of course leads to a higher speed in-between the turns.
