Whenever I've been asked to remove a video from my site due to copyright, I've acted without question.
The exception is the request I have right now. I received a crude PM demanding that I remove a couple videos uploaded by a member on my site and the PM came from someone with no identification or basis for their claim. For all I know, this could be a competitor that doesn't want me to have the clip online. Also, it is a recording of a webcam. So in this case, who is actually allowed to ask me to remove the video? I would think only the model or webcam site it came from, right? How would you respond to something like this? |

Yes, by our model contracts ... |
If the webcam video came from a website where webcam sessions are only for members and that website also uses the recording of the webcam show as an update or an extra for members inside the password protected area then the website owner could demand you take it down too!

I find it hilarious and very telling that you would even ask the questions over whom is allowed to take it down.
By your own post you have admitted to knowing that it should be removed and are now looking for a legal means to keep it up as long as possible. Just remove the clip and respect others rights before you attract too much attention to yourself. :2 cents::2 cents::2 cents: |
