Do "canonical" tags make it impossible to rank WL?
 

I see that all my WL cam sites have the "canonical" TAG in the code, pointing to the original cam site. Will this make WL sites impossible to rank in google/bing ? :Oh crap

They don't but the original site will most likely always rank better than you and that's obviously not good for your conversions.

canonical tag screams google and other SE "hey there, please give authority of this content to this page"
