"Chelsea have signed former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona on a five-year deal."

"The 27-year-old had been told earlier in the summer that he was surplus to requirements in Spain, leading to speculation he was about to return to the Premier League.

Arsenal inserted a clause in the deal that took him to the Nou Camp in 2011 that gave them first option to re-sign the player.

But the Gunners decided not to take up that option and Chelsea have secured a deal for Fabregas, who is currently with the Spain squad at the World Cup."

Glad he's signed for Chelsea. But the Blues already have a lot of talented midfielders, so I wonder if any of them will be let go?

This is a Mark Hughes moment for me. The signing of a much disliked star of a rival.

Took me almost all of his first season (until a hat-trick against Leeds) for me to accept Mark Hughes was a blue. I hope Cesc's transition from villain to hero is quicker.

Pussy. I hate Chelsea cause they are having so much money. And he just broke hearts of many Arsenal fans...

It is likely that one will be sold to balance the books, I know Chelsea are going to sell David Luiz to balance the Costa signing, I'd expect maybe Ramires or Jon Obi Mikel to leave, maybe even both actually.

Great signing for Chelsea, they really mean business for next year.
