There is some very rugged terrain on both the Southern US border (Southern Arizona) and the Northern US border (North Eastern Washington State)...there are stretches of land there where there are no official boarder crossing because the terrain is inhospitable.

If the gun can aim itself there is hardly a need for a human. What's he doing other than pulling a trigger? Certainly there is no need for a soldier to stand there and be a target while computers can do everything including acquire the target once properly programmed.
So there's no need for human interfaces on guns anymore one might argue.

The first time I fired a pistol grip shotgun, I was smart enough to not aim down the sights. For one thing, it's a shotgun and you don't need to aim unless you're using slugs.

Just random idea - why not to have some sort of alarm system in place, when authorities got notice when somebody triggers it.
