Did anyone here watch Fargo?

Saw the movie while back, but I heard great thing about the series, Can't wait.

(we never watch series in summertime. we keep this for the cold months )

Billy Bob Thornton is amazing, as always. I'm glad he got over his butthurt from not being taken seriously as a musician and went back to acting.

I didn't like the finale though. I mean it wrapped everything up but I felt it was a little weak, maybe I just wanted the story to continue though.

Just saw the season finale. One of the best show of the year. Much better than the movie. Loved it!

I really enjoyed it. The show is packed with great performances.

I hope we see more stuff like this. Limited series that tell one contained story over a handful of episodes.

gonna have to check out Crash and the Fargo movie. the title "Fargo' isn't appealing as a movie, so of course didn't ever watch it then...but now...well...different story!

I also heard it's NOT a true story and the creators of the show were called out for it. Anyone have better info?

I assumed they were joking about it being the true story.

So I watched the first episode and not sure how to take it. It seems like it will be a decent series, but it also clearly takes from the movie in obvious ways but then changes it up.

I think I'd like it more if I hadn't seen the movie, because it's just way too close on certain things then goes off on a different direction while still following the basic idea of the movie.

I think it would be better if they wouldn't have borrowed so much from the movie but instead created a original story line. I just get the feeling they are trying to borrow too much from the movie but trying to present it as original.

Good show.
Also recommend Silicon Valley.

it's almost perfect tv show ever for me, i just wish story is 10 episodes longer :)

billy bob made the series good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the show from start to finish. Billy Bob was truly the star of the show but Martin Freeman really held his own too.

The movie was excellent.
