So Steve Martin retweeted my third ever tweet and ...

... all because my grammar is most likely better than his gazillion stupid followers who don't read.

That was a week or so ago and people are still adding it to their favorites.

Is that how twitter works? Never looked into it really.

he said he read that he accepted a role in father of the bride three but did not get offered yet or something like that.

I replied that if he DID get offered he best don't accept.

Hinting to a crap movie;-). He did not understand and that is what he (re)tweeted.

I created my twitter account a year ago in order to follow namecheap (they were having some promos) and I did not do much activity aside that... Yesterday I logged in and I have like 10 or 15 followers... Where did they come from? Why would they or even bots follow some inactive account with almost no tweets? :helpme

I follow mostly cryptocoin related accounts on Twitter, 100% passively, but I've still accumulated several followers. I think in this case it's basically a big circle jerk, where no one wants to miss out on any potential news that could affect a coin's price, so they follow everyone possible.

I guess it doesn't hurt to follow an inactive or quiet account, if they start posting shit then unfollow them.

Thing is that I only followed namecheap, also followed yahoo support etc. My account was completely uninteresting and not useful to anybody.

Twitter = celebrities, "celebrities", spammers, celebrity spammers, wannabe spammers, lazy stalkers.
