If it works eventually others will find it and copy it, but it will take a while. No use in helping speed that process up.

yeah, it's pretty bad form mate. I can see now it was done as a huge compliment to the affiliate, but I'd echo what george said, and ask for it to be deleted. It's 99% probable the affiliate won't be too pleased if he knew, to put it mildly. Live and learn, and all that :)

Rochard, you have access to sales stats. One person is doing well. You then post saying "copy this and you could do as well" (essentially).

Rochard, I totally see and know you well enough to know that there wasn't an ounce of ill intent here, and back in OUR day, most affiliates took this as a serious compliment - but these days, it's almost like asking someone how much money they make or some other very personal question - I am old school too and didn't think it was so bad, and I used to do this same thing a lot - but times and people are so much different now.. sad but true.

Not saying anything about posting sites here but isnt it just as easy to copy the site that is number one on google or bing for certain keywords if you want to steal ideas?
