I had it in my top 3 short list since I am up for a new phone to replace my optimus g pro but early reviews confirm my concern- cyanogen mod is the very weak link in the phone.

They just cannot crank out a stable OS. I've been running CM on phones for years and am always let down. I want the oneplus to be the flagship killer but it appears it won't be. I've decided on getting the lg g3 when it is released in a couple weeks.

Just buy a nexus

Considered it, only because of all of the development that's "only available" on nexus. But I like my HTC One.

Hopefully he posts or emails and lets me know. I plan to get one, the invite just had a 72 hour expiration date.

This invite nonsense annoys the shit out of me. I love the idea of the oneplus because of the freedom, yet you're trading one annoying manufacturer for another.
