Help me decide rates to pay users.
 

Hey everyone,

I'm having a tough time deciding on some numbers and hoped I could get some good input from everyone.

One of my sites pays people for each forum thread they create and participate in.

What is a good rate to pay for:

1. create a new thread
2. reply in a thread
3. adding content to a thread, such as a picture.
4. your thread gets featured, you get how much?

I was thinking 3 cents per new thread, 1 cent for replies over a certain number of characters, and 1 cent for photo uploads, and perhaps 50 cents each time your thread gets featured.

What's your thoughts?

According to PostLoop.com they payout avg $0.08 per post. Depends, but I think somewhere in the range of $0.04/thread, $0.02/other posts is pretty fair.

Featured Thread maybe $1.00? Depends how often a thread gets featured (if it's once a week something like $50 will keep interest up imo)

Yes of course, i am also agree with your this vies that Business help me decide rates to pay users with these points :

1. First one is check user's Location
2. Second one is check user's motto
3. Third one is check user's think, what he trying to tell
4. Fourth one and very important thing is that check user's advice which he given by his massage.

I would rather go with the average just like zngb mentionated.
