Hobby Lobby profits from abortion and contraception products
I'm not sure if this is hypocrisy or irony, but Hobby Lobby has a lot of money invested in products that create and sell abortion and contraception products...

So I guess allowing employees to use such products are bad, but profiting from them is perfectly acceptable? Here's the article on Forbes. |

First of all, they pay for all other types of contraception, just not the abortion pills, and they just don't want to be forced to PAY for them. The employees can use them all they want to, no one is limiting their access in any way. I have a constitutional right to bear arms, does that mean that my employer should be forced to pay for my guns and ammo even if they are anti guns? . |
And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, ?Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.? John 8:7 |
I am pretty super liberal and I agree with the supreme court on this. Health care as a rule shouldn't cover non health related items. I don't like my premiums being higher so they can have free abortions or birth control. Go buy it like everyone else.

This is about religion being able to choose what medical benefits an employer is obligated to give to an employee. We have separation of church of state for a reason, and this needs to carry over to the work place. The employers religion should have no bearing on the workplace at all. |
Apparently Rochard knows nothing of mutual funds; add it to the list I guess.

This is ridiculous. The employer's religion should not decide what healthcare benefits their employee gets. What's next? Right to life issues? Maybe after that my employer will tell me I cannot eat meat on certain days. |

Have you ever owned any mutual funds? Did you know EVERY corporation included and EVERY product/service they provide? |

And its also becoming quite obvious that you have no idea how a company selects a mutual fund. But you're a right winger so why bother with pesky facts when you can just 'go with your gut'. |

Yes his statement has EVERYTHING to do with it. Yours on the other hand does not about the Declaration. What you are saying an employer can not decide what it covers because of religious views? Umm mine decides what Blood Pressure meds they cover and do not cover.... FOr Financial reasons.. Hobby Lobby covers 16 of the 20 Listed. Before the ACA people purchased their own Morning after pills... $30-$50 for a night of Wild fun. Hell the food, alcohol, and stripper cost more than that!!!! |

Sorry Rochard but I doubt you'll ever convince Baddog or die hards to change their mind. For my own 2 cents on the subject, I'd be willing to bet the owners of Hobby Lobby care less about women's health, and care more about imposing their own religious beliefs on others. There are no hobby lobbies here in Montreal but if there were, I wouldn't shop there. |
