Hakkasan Las Vegas

What are the prices like for things like entry and drinks ??

I see they get pretty much all the big name dj's there now. Was curious how much they actually charge for the privilege.

Is it the best club in Vegas, or is it just hype and there's better out there ? I'm guessing it sells out when the top names are on.

Best club in Vegas, maybe the USA :2 cents:

Some bad reviews on Hakkasan.

Bad reviews indeed.

Mind you i suppose most clubs would have shitty reviews if you read enough of them...

I dance on kids playground every night.

vegas clubs are worthless and annoying unless you are going there to get your own area ($$$$$) or you are DJing at one. otherwise, you're just dealing with a bunch of toolbags that are there to try and pick up chicks. tons of dirty low lifes in the common areas. no thanks.

go vip with table service and security, or don't go is my advice. with table service the chicks come to you and you have a nice night talking to hot chicks and if you know what you're doing, you take them after-hours to suites in wynn or some shit. otherwise, go play black jack all night.

Gotta admit I don't like the "clubs" on the strip.

My idea of a nightclub is somewhere you go and you get good service, entertainment, and a comfortable but at the same time "crazy" fun atmosphere.

If you go to a club like Hakkasan or any of the other ones like it...you wait in line (for no apparent reason other than to make it "feel" like a privilege to get in). That pretty much stops me right there. When we go out and are all dressed up, I'm ready to have a drink. Not stand in line for an hour.

Then when you FINALLY get inside (unless you pay the bouncers $50 and get in quicker), you find that you can't even sit down...unless you have "table service". Which is their way of charging you hundreds of dollars for something that should be standard practice: you know tables and chairs like there have ALWAYS been in nightclubs.

Then you try to get a drink...good luck! The bars are TINY and packed 10 people deep trying to get a drink. HORRIBLE service (again...unless you want to drop hundreds of dollars for "table service")

Then you finally order your drink...to find out it's $14 for a screwdriver! WTF!?!?!?

So now you struggle out from the bar with your drink in a plastic cup, and nowhere to sit and enjoy it for a moment.

Oh well...what about the great entertainment?
Hope you love EDM droning music. Cause that's pretty much what you get. And the only visual entertainment is flashing lights. Woopty-doo.

I know it's the big fad for the last ten years or so. But what the fuck do people get out of that?

I'd rather hit a club with real LIVE entertainment and be able to sit at the bar or a table and order a drink when I want it and how I want it (you know with REAL bartenders who know how to make specialty drinks).

It sucks that the current environment isn't more conducive to live bands and entertainers and real bars and clubs.

But these "clubs" here in Vegas are packing them in. So I guess people must enjoy being treated like crap when they go out (unless they pay through the nose to be treated like you would normally in a real club, minus the real bartenders and live entertainment of course).

both of these are cool places! frankies is not very suitable if you have a big group of people though. although commonwealth maybe a lot closer to one but both are a pretty far from a hakkasan. just polar opposites of the glitzy plastic of the casino meat markets.

I stopped going to clubs when I was in my early 20's. Fuck all the bullshit associated with it. I'd rather a pub with a good band then a nightclub with a bunch of retards that think they are special by paying $300 for a bottle of $30 vodka.

Theo 07-02-2014 08:22 PM

I prefer Hakkasan over XS and it's always a good reason to visit Vegas. It's managed by AMG and these guys are top. It's not a cheap club to be, but it accommodates from young audience who have a couple hundred bucks to spend to bottle services that will blow your mind. I've met some of their very top clients and it's astonishing the wealth these guys have. Hakkasan crew treats them like kings.

Scott McD 07-03-2014 10:38 AM

I've been a "clubber" for roughly 15 years now. I'm used to the waiting to get in, then being packed in like sardines once inside. Bottle service ? I don't need it.

We used to travel all over just to go to the big events in Holland, Ibiza etc. Great times. And one's that i wouldn't change for anything.

I suppose people just have different views on what a dance club should actually be...

This thread is about heterosexual clubs; your opinion is not relevant here.
