Anyone been successful with Kickstarter?
 

I know one guy that got $20K. Any other success stories? I have a mainstream project that I am starting on there, just wondering what my chances are.

Nina Vain, better known as Everette Hartsoe, did one a few months back and generated over $20k for his graphic novel series.

My buddy has one for a movie we're going to make, he's generated almost $5k in the past week.

I've always wondered how you got the money. Meet your goal and wake up with 20k in your bank account? I assume if you don't produce you get sued.
