Techies: Can mobile users register to sites with fake ip on mobile devices?
 

I've had a dating site for 6 years and since day 1 I've had tons of fake Ghana/Nigeria signups everyday, and they post a fake ip saying they are from Chicago, New York, Miami etc etc.
Its been a nightmare

Now I made a mobile version of the site with a GPS detect so the users phone has to show there the phone is located.
I love this because it can seriously cut down on fake accounts.
But can this get fakes from mobile devices? Is there some kind of proxy server for spoofing a fake ip address for mobile devices too?

Does it just depend on my programming? If so what should I be looking for so I can tell my programmer.

On a more serious note, yes, both the IP and the location can be faked, there's a plethora of fake location/fake ip, vpn, etc. apps for mobile users.

Do you have an affiliate program that gives incentive to affiliates to generate fake mobile signups in return for PPL?
