I'm getting a Washer/Dryer machine today... !

So for the first time in about 7 years, I will actually have '*clean*' clothes and '*clean*' bedding!

The '*stars*' are indicative of the possibility that I cunt a4d the power to actually turn it on.... Pics later :thumbsup

If you're still shopping around, check out the "VRT Steam" line from Samsung.

We picked up this washer / dryer pair about a year ago and its pretty cool how they work. Each has tons of settings but the coolest is the washer. You load it up like normal and press start. It tumbles around for a few seconds then stops. Then water runs for only about 5 seconds or so, then stops. Then it tumbles around a bit, stops again, then starts the actual wash cycle. SUPER QUIET - you hardly here a thing. After a few minutes it spits a bit more water in and keeps going. According to the manual, it senses how dirty your clothes are and uses just enough water to clean your clothes, which seems to be hardly any water at all.

The dryer is louder but works in the same way. It senses how wet your clothes are and runs until your clothes are dry, regardless of the time you set it for. You have features like time-based dry if you want it, and steam option to take the wrinkles out of clothes. It works well for the most part but I have at least 1 favourite shirt which it just can't de-wrinkle.

Well, me & my son got one... Currently running through the 'initial' fake wash thingy you apparently need to do... - But will report back later :)

We just picked the latest models of these up 3 weeks ago for our new house, so far my wife loves them. Like you say, super quiet, even our dryer is very very quiet. We haven't used the steam clean system yet or steam dry but I like the idea of just throwing a worn pair of jeans into my steam dryer and them coming our smelling fresh and soft. I hate washing jeans too much, this saves that.

I'm not at all impressed TBH...

Spent most of the morning going to collect it with my Son, and we get home only to find its got an error message on it (E07) and I cant open the fucking door!

So at 9 am tomorrow 'SparkWorld' will be reciving an angry phone call from me. Its not 'thier fault' exactly... But my son took the day off work, and to have spent what I spent on it (all i cunnt a4d aside) for what it cost me - Not only should it be working... It should be making me a cup of tea in bed in the morning...

NOT HAPPY!!!! :mad::mad::mad:

Look on the bright side. You can smear feces in the water intake before returning it.

alan phillips Isolated machine from power source. Removed top cover,by removing 3 screws at rear of machine. Looked inside front of machine near the door release. Found 2 "Modules" with plugs. Pulled them out and put them back. Re-assembled the machine and plugged back into the power source. Fault cleared. Note there is another end to these wires which could also be loose. Anyway it worked for me.

We bought a set like that a few years back. First pair of front loaders we've owned. More lights on the front panels than a frickin' disco. :1orglaugh

We got the salesman to throw in a free set of pedestal bases, too.

Haha yes thats it. Tons of LED's, and a goofy song that played when the laundry was done. Cheesey. Good machines tho.

Oh... Yeah, I get it. But when I've just spent £489 / $838 on a brand new machine... I dont wanna start taking the fucking thing apart, when I have not even used it once!

TBH, if I did - I'd only fuck it up LOL

In a few hours here in the UK the store opens. They are either gonna send me out another machine and switch them over, or send a professional out to fix it.

The UK 'sale of goods act' states that things need to be fit for purpose. I cant even open the door to put any clothes in. Its basically faulty, out of the box, so they need to sort it out.

Its a 'good make' - comes with a 5 year guarantee, (from the makers) and a 2 year guarantee from the store... So I have more than a leg to stand on so to speak...

Its just fucking frustrating that it dont work... :(

Update!

Just spoken to 'SparkWorld' and explained situation....

As much as I'd perhaps like to post a *funny?* rant about my experience, in truth, they couldn't have been more pleasant....

Genuinely sorry - These things happen Sir (I agree) and a new machine is going to be delivered, installed and tested by them, (At NO CHARGE TO MYSELF) on Monday !

Cant say fairer than that... :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

CurrentlySober 07-11-2014 02:39 AM

Fuck me silly!

Cunting thing has just decided to behave! I now have a 'Full Load' on...

(Ohhh Err Misses etc)

CurrentlySober 07-11-2014 09:12 AM

I'm still somewhat confused... :(

I pulled out a little compartment that said 'Load Tray' (According to the instructions)

So I masturbated, shot my load into it, and called up 'SparkWorld' again...

For some reason they seemed cross with me ? :helpme:helpme:helpme
