Govt study says 2.3% of Americans gay or bisexual

http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN0FK2BE20140715?irpc=932

That is odd because I ran the same study on my blogs and found the numbers to be more like:

48% st8
20% bisexual
15% gay

The rest were women and they don't count.

It was a big cock blog so I an sure it had a higher number of gay guys than normal, but only 2.3% are gay, lesbian or bisexual?

Who did they poll? The 700 club?

College studies show 22% of females are bisexual or bicurious age 18 to 25 and that 12% have had sex with another girl.

bronco67 07-15-2014 04:23 PM

bisexual is gay.

kane 07-15-2014 04:28 PM

I always thought the number was somewhere around 8-10%

MiamiBoyz 07-15-2014 04:29 PM

I am gay and I have found that 90% of all males can be "gay for pay" for the right price!

So...you do the math!

Homo say what?

That doesn't apply because sexuality is defined by attraction, so you can be gay even if you never have had a single gay relationship. Paying doesn't create that kind of attraction.

For the first poster: your poll is skewed.

I've always heard the "one in ten" figure battered around so that percentage was surprising to me.

Robbie 07-15-2014 04:45 PM

My guess is that the number is WAY higher. Maybe more than 50% are bisexual or gay.

That's like asking people if they take illegal drugs or if they cheat on their wives. The majority will not tell the truth to some cold call pollster.

iSpyCams 07-15-2014 04:46 PM

Pretty sure your blog readers don't represent an accurate cross section of society.

I always thought it was 10% or less. Because I have heard gay rights people quoting 10% and I feel like they are likely to overstate since that's their incentive, so it's likely 10% at most. But that's likely to be the percentage of sexually active people who are gay. There are a lot of asexuals in the world as well, and quite a few people who are inactive, whatever their orientation.

I have always assumed gays are more active sexually than the average straight man simply because it seems like it would be easier for them to get laid. But I don't have any real data or meaningful experience for any of that.

I would say that heterosexuals breed more than gays or bisexuals, so that number is way too high. There is no way that that kind of evolutionary trait would exist if those gays aren't some sort of working ants or bees, those support some kind of begabreeder.

Not men - but women have been shown to have a physical response to nude women much more frequently. The hypothesis was that women have an "adaptable" sexual drive, i.e. that they are essentially omnivorous but that they curtail their sexuality to match societal expectations. Men, though, mostly like looking at chicks.

yeah I totally believe that. When I was a satellite/aerial engineer, 90% of all women were up for fucking once I dropped some innuendos like "I'll need to rig a new aerial on a larger pole, are you ok with big erections?"

My plumber mate has the same success rate with "I'll need to unblock your pipes" and "do you know which way to turn the stopcock" to bored housewives.

neither me or my mate is bullshitting based on what we'd *like* to happen, at all :thumbsup

I don't think men would ever admit it.

But if you watch animals you get a pretty clear idea. I've never seen a male dog turn down another male dog's ass. lol

Found the poll on my blog. But again, these people were typing "big cock" into Google to find my blog.

Sounds about right for the govrenment, always in the dark... I'd say that as far as women are concerned the number is much closer to 100% bi. At least that's what my girlfriend and I find in our polling.

Yeah, that's what I do all day long.. typing "big cock" in Google. :1orglaugh

Like I said, your poll is skewed and hard (no, I am not referring to hard cock).
