Does anyone give a shit about the Commonwealth Games ??
 

I don't just mean on here, i mean in general. Do people actually take an interest when they come round ?

Reason i ask is because we are hosting the games in my home city next week so obviously there has been a lot of media attention etc surrounding it. Normally i don't think i would even notice the games were on. I can't remember ever watching them on tv to be honest.

It has been good for the city as there has been some much needed work done to certain areas, and i have a particular interest because the opening ceremony is taking place at my football teams stadium.

I believe Usain Bolt is competing after some rumours he wouldn't make it.

We fucking love that shit down under. Aussies are sports mad and the chance to kick fuck out of dear old mother England is relished. No ole outside of the commonwealth will care, a lot of the commonwealth cares a lot about the games.
