Was using adwords but thats gone for adult now so....

Any other tools to look up volume and keyword ideas?

np. it's about $60 a month, though they have a free trial I believe - pretty sure once you've tried that out, you'll be impressed enough to pay it.

I swear Google does not show the Google search terms for adult very well. They always seem way to low.

Implement on site search, see how your users search for things.

Base your site on the best performing keywords in analytics too. Make a good site and give users what they want. Implement social sharing and interactions.
