Censorship on gfy stricter than even Youtube (due to humorless rats)
 

What is accepted on youtube as legitimate regular video content, is banned and deleted on gfy. Wow. A porn board called 'fucking around' with stricter rules than Youtube. We can thank resident whiner brassmonkey for this dark day in gfy history.

He posted a what are you listening to thread and I posted 2 videos from Youtube as a joke. The post is deleted now, because the thread starter probably doesn't have a funny bone in his entire body and pushed the 'report post'-button the moment he saw it. And what's worse, it was deleted as a result.

Now lets have a moment of silence to officially mourn this forum, what was once a place where you could say anything to anyone because most people here do have a sense of humor. Mary weeps :(

So, you know for sure that BrassMonkey had the post removed? There is absolutely no way in hell that someone else hit that report post button?

im pretty sure, but ofcourse someone else could've reported it. What I highly doubt by the way. But i don't expect the type of people reporting posts to fess up they did it, because that type of person generally doesn't have the character to do so.

that's also not the point by the way, point is that this forum caves to weirdos reporting posts, what I had never expected. They only did this before when money was at play and someone trashed an advertiser or something.

On the level you talk about the culprit doesnt have to do anything, that's right. But on the level of human beings amongst eachother, the culprit is thin skinned and sneaky and should come forward, to at least keep his last remaining tiny bit of honor. Man up, this sneaky bullshit is for women.

Well, that would work if you had not named a supposed "culprit". If you just said someone (without naming names) had the post removed and they are a little pussy or whatever and you asked them to man up on it, I would be right with you.

But you didn't. You named a culprit and now you are asking him to either come in and say yes it was him or not it wasn't either of which is a lose-lose for him because it gives you another opportunity to attack him.

Adding a "report post" button is a nice addition to any board, allowing responsible posters to help mods keep a tight rein on inappropriate content.

On GFY however, adding such a feature means a new toy to argue over in the sandbox.
