Fish eye lens is not good for porn.

i have gopro2 and i know you can switch from fish eye to half fish eye to flat simply in the menu, so problem with fish eye solved :winkwink:

There's no substitute for a good camera man and closer shots.

I know some people like the POV, but for me it gets annoying not being able to see the girl's whole body at the angles I like.

I have a gopro hero 3+ black edition, I have used it a little and plan on doing more with it.

Quality is great, but very shackey. I used my video lights and set it to 1080p 30 fps medium mode (removes a lot of the fish eye effect).

sucks that you can not white balance. but I was very pleased with the outcome. I'll be shooting some more xxx vids with it this weekend.

Na, Just set the lens width to medium and and "NOT" fisheye and it will look like a pro cam.


I have shot a lot of stuff with a GoPro2 and GoPro3. I also mix it with my pro camera. When shot right you can't tell which is which.

I use scuba gear to get the underwater shots with the GoPro and after that I use the pro camera out of the water to get all of the sound and out of water shots.


With my extensive experience with the Gopros, pro cameras and editing, I know for a fact you can absolutely shoot POV sex scenes with a Gopro3.


If you like it well, or at least shoot it with good available light, nobody can tell.

All stuff I shot on the go pro was private, was kinda testing the water before using it for production. But I'll be using it this weekend.

how do you control what you shoot with this cameras? they don't have viewfinder. smartphone? I sow some dedicated screen (http://www.amazon.com/GoPro-Touch-Ba...m_cr_pr_sims_t)

some other manufactures have screens on their action cameras, but I'm not really sure is worth of consider them (specifically, Rolei) for making pro video

A fisheye is not a fisheye when used underwater.

EXPLANATION

The focal length of a lens is very much affected when immersed in water. The reason is that the angle of refraction is dependent on the relative difference between the indices of refraction of the incoming medium and the medium of the lens. To be precise, the formula for the focal length is: 1/flens = (nglass - nincident)*(1/R1 - 1/R2), where R1 and R2 are the radii of curvature of the entrance and exit of the lens. For a lens in air nincident is close to one. For water it is 1.33 or so. For various types of glass it?s often in the neighborhood of 1.5. You can experience the effect yourself if you try to read some, waterproof, printing under water. Your eyes? focal length change dramatically.

It can be used for some amazing underwater shoots... :)

Did a shoot today with my go pro, wasn't pov, I used a rubberband and mounted it on my dslr while doing the video. I was really curious to see how it stacked up then noticed I forgot it at the place I shot today.... urgh..... :(
