Proof of concept/beta site - VideoTemple
 

Miss FreeOnes isn't the only project going on here at FreeOnes. One of the things that we've been working on is breathing life in an old site called VideoTemple (used to have nothing but video FHGs on it).

This isn't meant to replace FreeOnes, and tube sites are a dime a dozen. So what's the point? We're using Video Temple to test new ideas and technology, a kind of "proof of concept" type site.


So what's going on at Video Temple right now?

- Lightening fast and fairly accurate search engine.
- Easy to navigate and very straight forward. Little to no user learning curve.
- Banners are relevant as possible to the searches (search blonde, you get blonde girls in the banners).

We're at the point that I'd like to throw a little more traffic at it to see how things hold up, so if you'd go over and take a look I'd appreciate it! Feedback about the search is also appreciated! :winkwink:

Looks pretty cool. I will check the search. We were thinking of a similar site like at zergnet or cafemom. Nice responsive theme you have. Consider having a floating arrow up at some point in case the page load gets to be too much.

the saved search function is really nice. Thats a great idea.

We are developing same kind of site now. Yours looks beautiful...like you Petra! :)

looks clean, just, when i want to go to bottom, it loads tons of more videos and i hate those unlimited pages ... :2 cents: have luck :thumbsup

I love the saved search myself. I've always been a fan of it on other sites that offer it.

That's why we have the footer in a permanent spot right now, so you can actually get to it. This isn't a permanent solution of course, but it'll do for now.

Quick little bump for those up late. Or early. ;-)

Looks nice and clean. Could use some proper navigation though.

Me too, hate it but the biggies like Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram use it so I guess most people are ok with pages that infinitely keep loading content.
