Skint or The Undateables?

Anyone watch these two shows?

Undateables: The Turettes are my favorites. Pretty funny and pretty sad. Makes you glad for the little things in life. Like not having Turettes. I like the people, they are generally so filled with joy when they connect. Its cool to see. I've wondered if any of those dating agencies have affiliate programs. Need to check.

Skint- Wow, so American south comes to UK and everyone is white. Has its moments, like the guy with 7 kids and his funny t-shirts "If your happy and you know it - show us your tits"
Reminds me way too much of Southie in Boston.

Didn't feel right to be watching some of them like their innocent nature was being exploited, but I agree about Mr Tourettes - fucking hilarious!

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I was glad to see they have a dating service they can try. Especially, the down's syndromes...super horny people.

Wife and I were talking about it and what scared us the most is they want to have kids. Nothing wrong with kids but the children have a good chance of catching what ails the parents. Seems like more wards of the state to me.

Some decent shows coming out of Channel 4 it seems. I like the UK version of news as well. Not as dumbed down for the masses like US news is.

50% chance of them having a baby with Downs but I don't think they are as able to have children as someone unaffected.

Didn't know you lived in the UK.

Whereabouts are you based?

DamianJ 08-26-2014 11:19 AM

Undateables is the best. Where are you in the UK?

DamianJ 08-27-2014 01:07 AM

hey cap, you're not avoiding this because you're not in the uk and thus committing copyright infringement by any chance? that would be hilarious...

Check out Utopia, best show on Channel 4 since Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror

You can watch it all on 4OD...

If you're outside the UK you only need to use a VPN with a UK IP

I have to check out Utopia. I watched the Black Mirror where the PM had to fuck a pig. That was pretty funny.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I can totally understand you aggression. I mean, if you're outside the uk and watching c4, you're unarguably pirating the content.

And I'm fairly sure you're outside the uk.

Fucking hilarious. Piracy is bad unless it's a tv show...

Captain Kawaii 08-27-2014 03:25 PM

You know Damian if you had a brain you'd be dangerous. Instead, you're a pikey working for pikeys. There are many ways to watch programming without stealing it.

In psychology there is a term for what you do, it's called transference. It's a matter of projecting what is in your mind, what it is, you do, onto other people.

SO thank you for outing yourself mate. I've always known you were probably quite the thief considering the way you go on in AK's thread. I don't steal movies, shows, music, porn cause I don't believe in it bud. But we can see what's inside of you. So will your kid.

Just
give
it
time.

DamianJ 08-27-2014 03:30 PM

If you're not in the uk, you're commiting copyright infringement. Unarguable fact.

Surprised you made a thread admiting your crime, but stupid is as stupid does.

Added to which, laughing at people with mental illness is beyond sad.

Paul 08-27-2014 04:53 PM

Charlie Brooker's Dead Set is also worth a watch

Your trolling skills are pedestrian at best. But then you are familiar with the term "pedestrian" when it comes to your work aren't ya, laddie? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

By the way, please tell us when YOUR episode of "The Undateables" is scheduled to air. Wouldn't want to miss that one.

I bet you have ALOT of Forest Gump quotes in you don't ya princess! I see spelling is not one of your skill sets either. You certainly are a good hire.

But you said you wouldn't converse with me...now you are and you are even resorting to name calling rather than make a counter point, and we all know what that means.

You're so easy to troll kiddo.

If you're not in the UK, how can you legally watch C4 shows? Just because I'd like to know, hehe. I have no qualms about watching them, but you need a UK address to signup for 4od no? Or you did last time I looked.

Nathan Barley is watchable, another Charlie Brooker thing.

Anything by Charlie Brooker is quality :2 cents:

Newswipe & Screenwipe are awesome and he is one of the writers/owners of the company Zeppotron that produce great UK shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats & Would I Lie To You and a bunch of other shows.

It depends on licensing agreements and who produces the shows

The shows I've recommended you can buy the Blu-rays & DVDs on Amazon

Dead Set, Utopia & Black Mirror

Yes, ITV, Channel 4, BBC, Granada have all licensed their content, like American companies do, to streaming channels. That is primarily ow we are seeing them. We are also registered as legal users at BBC, ITV and others. We did so during World Cup.

I am also grateful we can see English films which rank among my favorites. Just watched "The Outsider" with Craig Wasson last night. Also a fan of Sherlock, Stephen Tompkinson, "The Mongrels" (Muppet style) series along with "The Thick Of It" are some of the funniest and best programs I have seen in a long time. Wife and I love the political and spy thrillers like "House of Cards" and the rest. "Inspector Lewis" Endeavour and George Gently series are also great.

We come in via VPN which is helpful. Plan on trying Utopia tonight. Have access to 1 season.

The series title, 8 out of 10 cats just kills me. I read the preview and plan to try it though I am not that up to date on UK life though trying to be more and more. Just tired of US news.

Thanks for tips and suggestions to programming from the UK. Wish I could see more English football. Cheers! :thumbsup

DamianJ 08-28-2014 09:18 AM

Using a VPN to illegally access content is ok with you?

I get it. Rights only apply to porn you produce, other people's rights are just a joke? You cannot register "legally" to watch the bbc if you are not paying the license fee. ITV works on adverts and if you are not in the uk you are stealing.

It's so cute you're admitting this illegal activity in public.

hypocrite

noun
1.
a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.

Captain Kawaii 08-28-2014 10:13 AM

Let's face it Damian. No one wants you in this forum, no one welcomes you, except the thieves you work for at XBIZ either. Your only pals are crooks and dimfucks.

There is nothing illegal about what we do unlike you and your pals. We belong to a web service and pay monthly fees for content they have licensed. Unlike you and your pals.

You're a pathetic little man with no chin! Piss Off! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
I am thinking about starting a gofundme site to buy you a chin. Would you like that?

Enjoy your pikey pals. I am blocking your silly ass. No need to deal with yet another board parasite.

DamianJ 08-28-2014 10:17 AM

Oh dear. So you bring my family into it, and now accuse me of working for thieves?

I think that's bye bye time.

I get it, you're annoyed because I've pointed out that you are a content thief and massive hypocrite. But take it like a man. You are breaking the law accessing bbc, ITV and c4 content overseas. There's no online service you pay for that has licensed that content. And added to which, earlier you claimed you were legally watching bbc content because you had registered there. Clue: keep your lies consistent.

And I've got more chins than a chins phone book. Stealing content and dvtimes' mental attempt at an insult eh?

Shows your level.

Captain Kawaii 08-31-2014 10:48 AM

Thanks again for the Utopia recommendation, Paul. Really great series. Am glad Netflix has it.

I wish British TV series had 15-25 shows per season though. Six is not enough.

No worries, it was excellent! Apparently there is going to be a third season, I'm looking forward to it.

I don't think you'd have the same quality with 15-25 episodes, it would be nice if they had 13 like a lot of the bigger US shows i.e. House Of Cards & Breaking Bad.

See if you can get access to a BBC show called The Shadow Line

It's a 7 part mini series crime/thriller, it's outstanding!

Chiwetel Ejiofor from 12 Years a Slave (2013) stars in it.

If you want anymore recommendations let me know :pimp
