2. Click Login (or Register if this is your first time playing)
3. Mouseover Pool Tools (in the top menu) and click "Join a private pool", then click on the "Pro Pickem" icon
4. Pool's login name = pcash2014
5. Pool's Password = ImLive
6. NEW FOR RETURNING PLAYERS -- you must log in with the new login pcash2014. ALSO: Check in your own poolhost user settings to make sure the email address you have there is current! Also make sure the box is checked to recieve update emails from the pool (so you don't miss any deadlines or pool news)

That's it, once you're registered you are in. Like last year this is a "confidence pool", which means that when you make your weekly picks you will be asked to weight your confidence in each pick (1-14 or 1-16 depending on the week), the higher the number you assign to a pick the more confidence you have in that pick.

Prizes: Prizes are paid via your PussyCash affiliate account. All affiliates with accounts in good standing are eligible. If you haven't got one as yet CLICK HERE to register.

DEADLINES
The season opener (game 1) begins on THURSDAY Sept. 5th with Baltimore Ravens vs the Denver Broncos. However, players have right up until the kickoff of the first game on the SUNDAY of each week to make their picks (Eastern Standard Time). IF YOU MISS PICKING EARLY GAMES (Thursday, Saturday etc) you simply forfiet the points for those games but you can still get your picks in for the remaining games before the usual Sunday deadline. No picks will be entered after the Sunday deadlines.


****NOTE**** You DO NOT NEED any NFL experience in order to play.
Anyone, and we do mean ANYONE can win! NFL games are notoriously fickle events, and even the most seasoned pickers and gamblers have been burned by a last second field goal or "hail Mary" play. There have been people who made random picks in past years who have won prizes.

Keep an eye on the news section of the poolhost.com login page for information about game scheduling, pool pick deadlines, etc. Regular updates will be posted on GFY once the pool commences.

NOTE:
It shows on the site, "This week's deadline is 1:00 PM ET, 9/7/2014"...but, that's AFTER the first game on Sept 4th... so pick prior to Sept 4th...

That's correct. Like the instructions say, the final (hard) deadline for each week is on Sunday, but if you want to take advantage of the points the early game(s) bring each week (recommended!) then you need to get your picks in before the Thursday game.

NOTE: You can still alter the rest of your picks after the Thursday game if you wish. Sundays at 1 pm EST will always be the final deadline.

If you make your picks after Thursday but before Sunday's deadline you simply lose your top weighted pick is all. (a potential 32 points though, so it's a lot to lose)

Hopefully this year I will do better than last. I started strong then somewhere in the second half of the season I crashed and burned and couple pick anything. I would have done better just randomly choosing. :)

Make sure the email address you have listed is current and working.
A little below your email you'll see a box that says: Recieve e-mail pick reminders

Well, as you had zero luck at getting it resolved 2, 4 or 6 years ago, I don't see the point. I guess it was my bad for not saying something every season.

But you thought it worth the effort to mention it yet again, so you may as well shoot me an email at the above address, so I can know yours and send you what info I have and also whatever I can find out.
