Here is what I sent if you want to just copy it:

Hello,

I am an avid Air France flyer and I always have had the best experience with your service. However, it is to my dismay that I will have to stop flying with you due to my recent discovery that your airline participates in shipping monkeys to laboratories. The story is quite heart breaking and I will be sharing it with the large industry I work in that is unaware and also fly Air France. I hope you will put an end to this soon.

Kindest regards,

Ferus 08-31-2014 04:35 AM

How about putting the blame on the consumer/manufactors?

..

Are the pills adverticed on juicyads.com tested on animals?

Roald 08-31-2014 04:37 AM

I would go even further and boycot the airports that allow these evil air companies to fly on them!!!!

*facepalm*

I believe the word you were looking for is "advertised" :thumbsup you can go around pointing the finger at a lot of different people but is that going to make a difference? no. its good to start somewhere, a large corporation like Air France will have a lot more impact on the consumers/manufacturers than the general public.

I suggest we use your family for all future product testing.

Save the monkeys!

English is my third. language, so exchuse me if it aint perfect. But I'm fairly sure the meaning came across pretty fucking clear.

Back to the topic:
A better place to start is with yourself and the Company you Work for.

Again - is the products marketed through juicyads.com tested on animals?

If so, should we Stop flying their banners?

For transporting monkeys?

That has zero impact for the living conditions and usage of those monkeys. I mean quality wise. Also, I don't think that there are good alternatives for stopping all animal tests. Humans are animals too.

Although with human tested drugs, at least someone got paid for being test subject, or got chance for getting better treatment.

Because you know what is best, I am definitely going to do just that! As to your question, I am not quite sure, I'll be sure to contact every single one of our pill advertisers and ask them personally if their dick pills have been tested on monkeys or other animals :thumbsup

might as well shut down 95% of all businesses then.

Let me clarify: by putting pressure on a corporation as large as Air France, they will be more likely to make a difference for the treatment of animals and they certainly could help by not supporting labs and ending transportation.

Dumping ice on your head has no relevance to ALS but it raised 100 million dollars so far right? I see more relevance in the transportation of monkeys to labs. If you don't want to try and help, keep scrolling :321GFY

Or wipe out a ton of drugs we have developed to cure disease. If it is between curing children in Africa (or any humans for that matter) of some terrible disease or monkeys dying in the name of medical research, I am sorry but the monkeys are going.

All these comments I hear about animal testing are always "emotion based" and to "feel good" about oneself that they are against it. Only a sicko would want to hurt animals just for the fun of it.

Let me put it like this, are you 100% sure all beauty products you use are not tested on animals? What about your clothes and shoes and your food? All from manufacturers who treat animals the right way?

Let me clarify: how about putting pressure to the right source, instead of a some company, whose main fault is being large.

Also, putting pressure to small company is easier, if you want to have some impact. Some tactical tip to you.

Roald I do actually only use products that say on them that they are not tested on animals. I don't know about my clothes and shoes, I'm not a die hard PETA fan, nor am I a vegetarian. But if I see something that makes me sad I will sometimes try to take the smallest action to change it. At least then I can feel like I at least tried and then carry on with life. Annd on that note I'm done with this thread everyone have a lovely Sunday.

Saying you're "not a die hard PETA fan" - is meant to imply you're somewhat supportive of PETA?

Why not blaming the country who allows it? Maybe the US??
Maybe american citizens should move out of US because of this...

Don't blame Air France, blame the US and the companies/countries who have legislation that make all this happening.

The link starts with this text "1. Every year, more than 10,000 monkeys are shipped to laboratories in the United States."

This is such a stupid thread! :pimp

Struggle4Bucks 08-31-2014 08:26 AM

I wanted to say: "I only fly KLM simply because of the fact that never in it's complete history a KLM-plain fell out of the sky due to a mechanic disorder" but i wont, simply because i don't want to tickle fate...

So let me say... i will continue to preferrebly fly KLM only... for personal reasons...

baddog 08-31-2014 08:35 AM

Are they supposed to make the monkeys walk?

dyna mo 08-31-2014 09:06 AM

I didn't think it possible but peta has out-stupided itself this time.

ErectMedia 08-31-2014 09:16 AM

I hereby boycott KLM/Air France pending real boobies are shown. :love-boob

***Disclaimer***

I've never flown KLM/Air France and have actually only been on a plane maybe 3-4 times in my life so not a lot of weight with my boycott. :1orglaugh

ottopottomouse 08-31-2014 10:20 AM

I'm sure the monkeys would rather fly than get seasick on a boat.

420 08-31-2014 10:32 AM

How do you know the monkeys aren't going to like their treatment? Suppose they are testing new ED medications and get to have lots of sex with attractive female monkeys.

I assume they get to fly first class. Free lodgings and free food can't be all bad.

wehateporn 08-31-2014 12:03 PM

I already had to stop flying with everyone because of the x-ray radiation scanner machines, did they ever do animal testing on those?

wehateporn 08-31-2014 12:06 PM

With the vaccines they prefer using unsuspecting humans for the tests (humans pay more than animals), the millions of Flu vaccines and HPV vaccines being given are just one big 'test'

I guess they tested a homo sapiens or two.

So, what's the end product if this is just test? And what it does?

LAJ 08-31-2014 06:06 PM

Ah... I wouldn't fly KLM/ Air France again because two years in a row they delivered my luggage a day late.

If you dig deep enough, you can find a reason to boycott any company :2 cents:
