Just noticed i have available optic internet connection at that speed and while before such speed would be interested,i kind dont see point to have it now.I mean, unless you dealing with videos(making videos as content producer)or you upload to tubes, then there seems no point. For hosting is also tooslow,as for that you need to have atleast 10mbit per server i think.Unless i would make a shared hosting with overselling like crazy lol

Hi Man,

Well........ I forgot the rate in Hong Kong.

In Singapore 100 Mbps is around $35/mo in USD.
In Delhi (India) 100 Mbps is around $100/mo in USD.
They have 200 Mbps in London (UK) but I cant remember the rate....... or Hong Kong for that matter.

$63/mo look like its somewhere in the middle if I look at USA and Germany.

Its a fair chunk of change though I guess it depends if you need the speed, I don't find I really need more than 10 Mbps and I currently have over 50 Mbps

Great deal where I live in the USA :upsidedow

The FCC and State PUC regulation of ISPs is a joke here.

don't forget to read their TOS, there exist mostly a fair usage policy. means this price don't allow hosting and permanent high usage...

Btw. 20mbit upload is not slow for hosting of websites, but surely too slow for streaming and similar cases.

the price of $63 for croatia is really cheap anyway...

Yeah i suppose it is relatively cheap,And what is biggest irony, this is offered by ISP which have most expensive ADSL package currently.Tho considering this is optic and not adsl fair usage might not exist.A potential problem could be lack of multiple ip addresses, but what i learned how you can get ip addresses directly from arin, you just need to have single working ip.I suppose i should ask them before, providing i decide to take that step.Having my own inhouse datacenter is a dream which i have for years but thing changed in the meantime,i am no longer technology geek as i used to be.

Damnnnnnnnnn,Tho if i would take 5 connections to match upload speed it would be then 500/100 speed and price would be 315$ so not such a big difference.

I had no choice really, I live outside town and there is no profit in running service out here so I had to get 'radio' internet... pole/dish on the hill with LOS (line of sight) to the transmitter... comes of the 'mountain' :2 cents:

I pay $30 for 100/100 but It all depends on where you are located. I know people that pay over $100 a month for 100/10

massguru 09-02-2014 03:55 AM

I currently pay $150/mo for 50/50 Mbit connection with 350GB FUP limit :(
