Big 4:3 Monitors?..
 

ATM I have a 3 screen setup with 2X4:3 19 inch and a 16:9 23 inch in the middle- I want to get rid of them and replace them for 3X big 4:3's - It's a work machine and I just prefer it - I have another machine for 'entertainment'.....

Any ideas - I was even thinking of going second hand/reconditioned...

I really hate scrolling...

I just had an idea - 3X16:9's in portrait mode - That would work I think?....

I use two portrait mode 16:9's next to my main monitors ... so I can see larger sets of data at a time.

Now I like the idea of a big 4:3 in the middle with portrait 16:9's either side - So, I need a big 4:3 still...

This way you can use modern monitors, display widescreen when you need it, and portrait screens to reduce scrolling? A setup like this won't cost alot, can be done with all new hardware, and is easily supported by both Windows and os/x.
