You are more likely to be punished by host for getting too much traffic then by google. You can use tools to cut down on backlinks of your so concerned but all my business is due to backlinking.

Try it those shitty links maybe just enough to get you onto google for chosen words. Then the targeted traffic comes due to the rank.

free backlink services work fine if you want to list a website very fast. But its no quality ranking, only quantity. At moment google want blacklist you. But it can be changed very fast. Its free, yes. You need to know with using the ranking sites you make them famous and some will offer you pay services as well. Your mailbox will be never empty ;)

Stay away from this, you don't want that.

Backlinks still work but now its good quality content on your site and social engagement.

Two years ago I ranked on the 5th position for "free cams" in google a site just using an online backlinks builder , these day is not so easy to rank now you need good quality content and quality backlinks !

You can still rank number #1 with or without content. With content you can do it without promotion quality helps but bulk backlinks are useful. Get a million backlinks with no content and you will rank regardless.
