Republican Mitt Romney insists his No. 1 job is fixing the economy but a former Reagan administration anti-porn prosecutor says the candidate's campaign has assured him that he also will "vigorously" crack down on pornographers if he is elected president.

Patrick Trueman, a former head of the Justice Department's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section and now the head of Morality in Media, told the conservative Daily Caller that he was quietly promised that fighting porn will be a top priority in a Romney White House.

"We got to clean up the water that our kids are swimming in," he said in a TV ad. "And by that I mean the pornography, the drug culture, the violence, the sex, the perversion that bombards them day in and day out. So I want to make sure we enforce our obscenity laws."

Romney has promised that if elected president he would require every new computer be sold with a porn filter.

That is the look of a man whose bran flakes just produced a major evacuation.

I wouldn't worry. Mormonism is viewed like a cult by protestant Christians (or anyone not Mormon for that matter) and that's a large voting base.

This guy has ZERO chance of being president. He had to win something like 10 of 10 "battleground" states against Obama and he didn't win any of them. He even lost Florida.

Now with the growing hispanic vote and the fact that the GOP is losing voters to old age at a faster rate than they are recruiting youths, I can't see any scenario where a guy like Romney can win.

The gop would be fools to take Romney again. They need someone fresh, young, little to no experience, hasn't been in the media. Kind of how Obama was before he was picked up.

The industry is saturated with both content and people trying to make money from the content. So if you look at it logically, then a war on porn could actually be very beneficial to the industry.

What I don't understand is how do many of the online porn portals get away with things that would land a traditional producer and distributor in jail. I mean not having releases, proof of performer age and lack of adequate security against juveniles accessing porn would result in the FBI knocking on someone's door.

So lets say he makes it once again, half of the republicans wont vote for him because he made a complete fool of himself last time around, and the other half wont cos these angry old republicans love porn more than anyone else!
