what would you do? $5000

If your start up porn business went from $0 to $5000 overnight, what would you do with that cash to make sure your business is able to thrive?

Here are some things already included:

1. clips4sale studio already set up with 10 exclusive clips 4 different models

2. images4sale studio already set up with 1000 exclusive pics 5 different models

3. you shoot all the content and have pro lights, camcorder+camera and a MacbookPro for editing

What would you do with the $5000 to thrive?:pimp

set up on other sites:

clipvia, manyclips, i'm sure there are others. If you have the correct credentials you could set up on other sites like ELM or my site as individual amateur models as well.

buy some banners on niche related blogs/forums, continue filming, get more models that will do your style of films!

Good luck out there!

Oh also, your URL leads nowhere, get that redirecting to your clips4sale or something if you're going to have it as a huge pink text in your sig :)

lmao good call on the pink url i will do that. I own the site i just don't know what to put on it yet so i will just do what you recommended about redirecting. I have also started opening an adult work.com account and will set up the other clip stores you mentioned as well.

do you think at this time i should just shoot $5000 worth of content (which i could get about 10 hours of vids with like 20 different models) and than go from there?

DDuckworth 09-08-2014 08:19 PM

Yeah I think 20 different models would be a great boost to your store. Personally, *not financial advice* I wouldn't spend all $5k on it, more like 2.5-3k on shooting, then the rest on advertising and maybe a graphic designer to help you out with a logo and getting a brand going. A good branding can be as important as any other aspect of a store.

Content is king - i'd try a few new avenues of new niches and perhaps buy a new dof hd camera to film it :)

Don't forget to keep some set aside for a "rainy day." I always take ~20% and save it for diversifying my income... if anything, you'll start to sleep a lot better at night once you've built up a reserve.

Be patient, you don't have to risk it all in the very beginning. Stick with what's working and protect your investment.

Make a own membership site and do a socialmedia campaign. It will makes you independent from clips selling sites and gives you 80-95% cash income from sales.

Link you existing sites to the membership and socialmedia.

Do you have the equipment already (Macbook, Procam & Lights)? Or need to buy?

Don't mean to hijack the thread but are there any similar sites out there that have an affiliate or referral program?

I've recruited a bunch of cam models lately and they are wanting to start selling their own custom videos and I'd like to make a % of each sale they make.

Save the money for now, keep working on the site, and spend it for something good, when you need it.
