Rochard 09-10-2014 08:54 PM

This is ugly to me....

Don't get me wrong, it's much nicer than my house... Or any house I've been in (and I've been in some rather nice houses. But that dark look to me screams "turn of the century Paris".

The outside of the house is beautiful.

This kitchen is probably worth more than my house lol. This kitchen is probably for "show". I would bet there is probably a back kitchen (I think in UK it's called a scullery) where any real prep and cooking would be done.

Fucking paradise !

Dave-U 09-10-2014 11:41 PM

Yep, it's ugly and not cozy at all.

But it is decorated just like Russian get-rich-fast folks do. Tsar style. I liked the Roman style outdoors, pillars, etc., but indoors are too much Tsar style for me.

Choopa_Pardo 09-11-2014 06:41 AM

Nope, not even if I had the means. It's the antithesis of what I want in a home.

Having a personal IMAX theater would be cool as shit, though.

Tam 09-11-2014 07:31 AM

What the hell would a person even DO with that much space? The things people spend their money on cracks me up - this house is not only insanely huge but it's gawdy and unattractive to me.

Like you say Rochard, not that mine is better - but to ME, it really is, I wouldn't live in that house if it was given to me - it's just too much to even feel like a home!

Zarathustra 09-11-2014 07:38 AM

Its nice but too pricey for what it is, it's almost 1/4 the cost of the Khalifa Tower with the 30 year, and the Khalifa Tower is huge

and also the area is only $53,000 median income so not impressed with the neighborhood, maybe hard to sell?

Choopa Phil 09-11-2014 07:45 AM

Revel Casino in Atlantic City just sold for 90 Million...I'd much rather own a casino and have $ left over to party with :)

There's a section of Hillsboro Beach known as Millionaires Mile and the big money avenue is known as Hillsboro Mile which this house is on. But when the majority of the other residents of the same town are the have-nots, why build your castle there?

xNetworx 09-11-2014 08:35 AM

I'd bet it eventually sells for much much less

I noticed 2 or 3 sinks in the kitchen area near the dining table. Do people wash their hands more when they're rich or is it really just overkill :2 cents:

Tom-LifeSelector 09-11-2014 08:55 AM

Impressive but not my style :pimp

I have a nice 3500 sq foot house here. There is three of us; We have rooms we do not use.

romeo22 09-11-2014 11:52 AM

Hmm im thinking to buy it :pimp

Ross 09-11-2014 12:04 PM

Location is amazing but inside it's horrible. Most rich people have horrible taste or a terrible interior designer.

2MuchMark 09-11-2014 12:33 PM

When I clicked the "Can I afford this?" link next to the price, my cat farted.

michael.kickass 09-11-2014 12:57 PM

Wow, it's fantastic.

that is an awesome ariel view, it looks like a fucking resort.

kristin 09-11-2014 01:39 PM

$143,425/year (estimated) in property taxes. Crazy.

Mutt 09-11-2014 08:48 PM

Even if I was a billionaire my home would be no more than 5000 sq feet - I'd have lots of property and privacy.

scuba steve 09-11-2014 08:59 PM

i looked up this area. way to be not close to anything fun
