Hey,

anyone noticed their tumblrs being deleted recently?

Also tumblr blogs are not showing up for some keywords on my side.

what's your recent experience?

My blog was deleted 1 year ago. :(
Had some good traffic.
Current tumblr blog wont allow plugrush or juicyads , so I have left that platform.

Wasn't using them so much for ads but as promo.

Oh well, it had a good run.

They'll delete your blogs if they find ads. I found out the hard way when they deleted 2 of my blogs with 35,000 followers total. :(

35000 followers... I feel for you.

I don't know if it's just ads, or repeating too often your own links that annoy them.

It's kind of dumb that they don't send a warning, down the line they lose bucket loads of traffic....

Remember geocities and how that went well? :-)

also you can search for certain keywords on there system. Type booty, pussy etc
this change when yahoo bought them and they killed off alot of blogs on there system.

tumblr will delete you for anything - even for being too SEO'ed, your best bet is to just build, build, build and remember to use a new fingerprint every time (New email, i.p., everything). The only way you'll win there is to try and make more blogs than they can delete!

They may delete if you don't have your blog flagged correctly.

Thats normal, for adult etc, it SHOULD be flagged NSFW.

I don't understand why they don't warn, give you a chance to adjust within let's say 5 days.
and then delete you.

Adult must be a HUGE share of their traffic.

Someone is going to make a killing with the adult tumblr one day. Oh wait...

For a while, NSFW blogs weren't eligible to be indexed by search engines, but ours corrected itself and now we are listed again.

I built several to 5k to 10k followers only to have them deleted without notice. In most cases I didn't do anything wrong.
