apple-touch-icon.png ??
 

Working on seo stuff. apparently an apple-touch-icon.png is needed to be in root of website.. .Its a small % boost but what the hey, every little % counts right?

So, I made one 114x114 pxl image titled apple-touch-icon.png . Uploaded it to my root directory by way or c-panel file manager. But when I run scan it still says its needed, so I'm guessing i got it in wrong place.

Do I need put it like in html in head of page? Or maybe in a different root directory?
The directions are a bit vague.
So exactly where the heck does it go? :helpme

Why not Google for that and get an extensive step by step instructions?
Why just apple icon? You need android and windows ones too

well, i guess the droid and windows ones must be working. my android works fine on it. plus the seo toolbox scanner only says I'm missing the apple one.

Far as googling and searching for that. I have spent so much time working long hours on site till my brain has turned to mush and oozed out ma ears.
Just thought maybe easier to ask you guys.

114 is the wrong size now too.
