Australia, the New Terror State
|
|
For once, you're actually mostly right. A couple of points on the first graphic are wrong. The last one, the one about the meeting room, mostly right though. It's pretty fucked. A couple of guys with very, very loose/ questionable ties to IS talked about planning a beheading and suddenly the govt and the cops and the media go berserk. Nevermind the fact that 0 Australians have died from beheadings at the hands of Islamic fundamentalists. In fact, 0 Australians have died in Australia from terrorism. In the last ten years something around 370 have died from falling out of beds though. Where is the war on beds?

Australians....... gee.
I can never be fearful of someone with an accent like that :1orglaugh |
The people are nice, nothing to be scared of there. it's just everything else here that wants to kill you.
|
Not mentioned was if an Australian now travels to a country like Syria or Afghanistan, upon return they have to prove it WAS NOT a terrorism trip. So you are presumed to be a terrorist until you can prove otherwise.

gotta watch out for those fucking drop bears...
Randy- You are correct. They want to label certain parts of the world "no go zones", apparently they wont be entire countries, just hot spots. Like certain cities in Syria for example and unless you can show that you were there as a reporter, for instance, or an aid worker or something, you can be charged with supporting terrorism. I do not understand how it can be against Australian law to do something outside of Australia and honestly, it probably wont stand up to a High Court challenge. |
