I cut myself pretty bad with on of those Mach 3 blades.

Anyone have good suggestions for good razors? Anyone use dollar shave club?

Oh and question on the other tyoe of shaving.... in todays post affiliate program world of traffic buying /selling, mobile networks is there an equivalent to shaving????

Dollar Shave Club is fucking awesome. I bought the $6 razor. Every month they send me 4 new blades. Good solid handle, nice sharp blades.

Also check out their other products. I probably spend more money on their One Wipe Charlies than I do on their razors. I swear by the travel packs. I always keep a couple of packs on me. TP in public restrooms sucks.

Be a man and dry shave with a .10 razor. Hint: If you tap it on the sink hard you can get shaved for about .01 per. Everything else is for pussies.

I've used a variety of razors in my days, including the Mach 3. Primarily due to the fact that I have a very hard beard and can only shave against the grain, in order to have a close enough shave.

At this time I'm using a Wilkinson Sword Quattro, closest shave I've ever gotten and never cut myself. Try it, not exactly expensive. Oh and you may also look into some shaving oil to apply before applying foam/gel. It increases the glide significantly and reduces the risk of cutting yourself. Plus it softens the beard so it's easier to shave it off.

Also, if you have problems with razor burn and irritated skin after shaving, get an after shave balm. It reduces razor burn and if your beard is not as hard as mine chances are it will eliminate it completely.

I shave once a week. The look on a clients face if their sit down meeting is on day four is priceless.

I only use the blades about 5 times and dry them after every use. When you leave them sitting to air dry they lose some of the sharpness and cut you a lot easier.

Do they sit on your face? Otherwise what is priceless about having 4 day beard? Unless your post meant something completely different as it has various mistakes.

Don't shave ...

It's all in the preparation. Has little to do with razor.

The best way for me falls into two categories:

1. At home - wash your face with very hot water, apply Aveeno Shaving Gel and really rub it into your face. Keep it on your face for a good minute and then rinse with very hot water. Now you're ready to shave. I use a Gillette Fusion Proglide, shave about once a week, and change the blade once a month.


2. Best shave you can get is coming out of a sauna. Lately that's when I've been shaving - just some shaving gel, rinse off and I shave against the grain with no discomfort. Perfectly smooth and close shave every time.

I use Mach3 and IMO that sucks but I've not found anything better yet.

I used to use the Mach3, then switched to shitty disposables because they were cheaper. Then I decided to give DSC a try. I'm not just hyping them because I want you to click my sig to sign up (*wink*wink). I would be telling my friends if there wasn't a kick back for me in it.

The blades are great, the price is awesome, and the shipments are like clockwork.

Shave with electric clippers first then close with a blade.

Blades will last 10x longer
