"Lucy" - A detailed movie review...
 

Good premise adequately executed. Morgan Freeman gave me a stiffy - Shit ending.

I rate this 3 and half poos.

Worst movie I've seen in nearly a decade. Took everything I have not to walk out of it.

Premise excited me to go though.

it was a bit dull but i wouldn't call it horrible.. having scarlet johanson play a cyborg is a bit of a waste of talent, no doubt.

she just got her brain upgraded with drug :upsidedow and she got super powers with upgraded brain :)

i rate this movie 6/10, watchable just for some fun, nothing else, director even used his paris "taxi" movie into it, fucking car driving scene, come on, rip off...

Well,here are moments which i remembered from movie :
-a junkie on beginning of the movie look a bit like teencat
-a part where she says it is not knowledge what bring chaos,it is people who bring chaos
And there was another good sentence but i already forgot it lulz.
But yes nothing special of a movie,a dull as Glen said.

The whole movie was gripping, enjoyable & very fun to watch, enjoyed it all & while watching a movie, taught some facts :)

scarlet is a shit actress...the last good morgan freeman movie was shawshank...

Agree with everyone's post, movie is dumb, plot unbelievable, science raped, characters doing silly things no one would do (suicidal koreans lol, and why they don't take the drug themselves to have superpowers? and so on). There's just a few action scenes, a B movie with action and faulty plot, any x-men movie looks more likely real facts than this.

Transcendence http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2209764/ is not dumb, plot is believable, science mostly respected, characters doing mostly common sense things, just is not a super movie, but 100 times better than Lucy for sure. If you like the actress you can see her naked in "under the skin": http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1441395/ , this movie is also silly, a fake kubrik style movie, but less silly than Lucy still.

Just to keep in sci-fi topic, I would suggest to watch instead X-Men: Days of Future Past http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1877832/ , that's good. I find Edge of Tomorrow http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1631867/ overrated, I found it very boring and repetitive and the twists did not impressed me, that's like Inception I find it overrated.

I didn't seen Dawn of the Planet of the Apes or Guardians of the Galaxy yet, people say these are good esp. Guardians of the Galaxy, I'll comment after I seen. In November we'll have Interstellar from Nolan, who knows, the guy is overrated since Batman's imho.

I seen those teen-coming-of-age post apocaliptic dystopic movies: the giver, divergent, the hunger games, I don't advise to see these if you're over 20 :)

Movies are dead. They put all the good stuff in trailers and lure us. Series is the way to go.

Just because divergent main characters are some sort of teens,it doesn't change fact how is good movie.Dauntless for the win.I really dont care is character 18 or 68 year old.

Way beyond imagination. The first 5 minutes was awesome, and them it sucks after that.
