Issues with Adult Banking in EU
 

seems lots of adult related personal and business accounts are getting closed left and right the last weeks in the EU, as a new witch hunt is taking place.

If your bank is a correspondent bank of DB, I suggest you move asap ;)

Some changes in banking laws maybe, this is different but spotted yesterday that Auction Chex are having problems switching dollars into pounds, a lot of UK based affiliate marketers rely on them

yep, thats another issue that is going on a while now, lots of pressure from US in general, i think a few affiliate programs had to change their payout models due to this...

Lets say, I know for a fact that DB is pushing heavily their correspondent banks in other EU countries to close accounts that are adult related, even on shareholder level(aka accounts not even directly related with adult business) and its not the only bank doing do.

Seems there is more and more pressure on online business even mainstream, as theoretically can be used for $ laundering (especially on sectors that banks cant understand).

Btw what in this case closing an account means? They let you know to move your funds elsewhere asap, or they just take all the money ? :)

why can't you deposit USD checks directly?

people here would be able to 'sign off' a cheque to someone else.. i wonder if this has been changed

Legit entities based in EU with directors living in the EU running legit biz should have no problems at all. Many brothels operate accounts with DB and have no problems at all.
