Race relations in this country are as bad as they have been in my lifetime. All this is going to come to a head somehow and it's not going to be pretty. These idiots assume because the cop was white and the kid was black there must have been an unjustified shooting. I feel sorry for the police these days. There are parasites like the Rev Al and Jesse Jackson who, ironically, judge by color before all else. The world is coming apart at the seams and there's nothing being done about it. I am tired of Yahoo and all of the negative press. They print these stories to stoke the fire, and it works. Pretty soon it will be every man for himself and he with the most guns will win.

There are bad cops just like there are bad doctors, bad lawyers and bad any-other-profession-you-can-think-of.

But that doesn't mean that all cops are bad, I've had friends and yes even relatives who were cops and they were for the most part ok people who were honestly trying to do a good job and make a difference, but look at the records of trouble cops you will almost always find unions protecting them from the consequences of their actions.

So lets all just keep painting all cops with the broad brush, keep making their jobs tougher and tougher so the good ones will eventually leave the job and the bad ones will be the only ones left because they can't be fired and they can't go anywhere else.

I was driving today and a cop was in one of the lanes behind me.

really? i have no record, am 31, and so far the only time i have had guns pulled, been threatened with incarceration, or anything physically violent or unacceptable, it's been a police officer.
