Hey guys, sadly its not a cool thread

In Oct 6, the user Victoria Carslile ( icq 694934208 ) contact me for some content ( around 20 sets :S ) ... we talked i made a discount from $760 to $660 and i send her a PayPal invoice, she pay that and didnt receive any news from her, today i receive a paypal email with a chargueback for this transaction :S

So, be aware :S

I had a "feeling" about it, and didn't tell her I used PP...and only moneygram or WU.
Guess that ol' instinct still works!

It's like shoplifting, virtually...and people that do it SUCK!

I am thinking of starting a "wall of shame" to deal with fraudulent chargebacks. Anyone know the legalities of that?

That's in addition to throwing them into collections.
This is for confirmed delivery, physical products.

I thought this was a stolen paypal. But chargebacks are fraud just the same.

If they do this, under the terms of the licence surely they lose ownership of the content and the right to use it?..

If that's the case think of it less a loss and more that you never had it in the first place.....

Mine was a chargeback thru PayPal...they "conveniently" paid paypal with their credit card, so even though I can prove delivery...their credit card backed THEM and wouldn't give me my $$ back via paypal.
PayPal did everything they could...bit their bank/credit card backed the scammer.

What deisgn i made for you ?

I used to offer digital downloads and a physical copy sent with tracking. That way you have a tangible item sent and an address. Of course using Paypal is always iffy. There are many ways to receive money these days though. Bitcoin comes to mind.
